You tell an awful, horrible joke or poem that's so bad it causes pain. Any living enemy creature that can hear and understand you within the spell's range must succeed a saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes damage and is unable to take Bonus Actions until the end of their next turn while they question their meaning in life. On a successful save, the target takes half as much damage and suffers no additional effects.
